McMahon |Siegel Group Current Course Offerings:
GOLD: Geoprofessional Operational Leadership Development. Providing advanced business leadership education for the geoprofessional community. Offered in cooperation with the Geoprofessional Business Association, this course starts fall 2017.
McMahon|Siegel group offers a variety of training and development alternatives for individuals and companies. We have two key differentiators for our programs as compared to other existing programs. First, the majority of our coursework is taught from the “CEO Perspective”. Namely, our instructors are primarily current or former CEO’s and other “C-suite” executives who know what it is like to be responsible for all aspects of a business, who have years of practical experience to share, and bring a wealth of business wisdom and knowledge to the coursework.
Second, our signature programs emphasize practical operational skills. This is an area often under-served by “professional trainers” and our instructors and guest speakers are compelling and excited to transfer their knowledge to the next generation.
McMahon|Siegel Group currently offers the following training programs:

This course is differentiated from other programs in the marketplace with its emphasis on the practical aspects of managing and leading combined with traditional leadership training. This program is offered three ways:

Executive coaching/mentoring:
It is said that it is “lonely at the top”. As leaders from large organizations, we understand that having an experienced consultant or just a “sounding board” can be invaluable to executive leadership. Further, some of the best ideas and learning comes from peers and peer groups, where ideas, issues and concerns can be shared in a completely confidential setting.
McMahon|Siegel Group can provide this service through multiple mechanisms:
· Individual coaching/mentoring. Whether driven by a formal development program, or just a desire to meet regularly and share, our industry veterans can be paired with executives to provide this valuable service. Depending on the circumstances, as much or as little time as desired can be provided to help.
· Team coaching/mentoring. Often a senior leadership team struggles with the three “Cs”: cohesion, cooperation and communication. We work with teams to build trust, get alignment on strategy, operating policies and procedures, and establish good and useful communication strategies.
· Peer groups. The McMahon|Siegel Group coordinates and administers peer groups for the A/E/C industry and beyond. The typical peer group is comprised of eight to 10 CEOs or other executives from the same industry, but with membership structured to minimize conflicts between the firms. The McMahon|Siegel Group provides coordination services for the group, and assigns an industry leader who facilitates all meetings. The typical group meets quarterly, with individual one-on-one coaching sessions with the group facilitator an option for all group members.
